Unusual jewelry - Guzel Bakeeva

This artist creates incredibly detailed and beautiful jewelry pieces, using a variety of different materials. They make me think of something that a princess in a fantasy story would be wearing. Please visit the artist's store, to see other works.

Fabric Jewelry

These darling creations are from Meg Hannan :
"Right out of the gate I reveled in making art. It soothed my soul and still does. Not to say I haven't found myself in a fight with it from time to time. For me, art is primal as breathing. It’s process of mystery and magic compels and anchors me and explains why I'm here. I cannot imagine my life without it."

Beautiful words about beautiful creations. Please visit the artist's site, as well as her Etsy shop!

Garden jewelry - Mrs Dazo

I was unable to find much more on this amazing artist, other than she is from Singapore, and has an Etsy shop.
Her creations are dainty, and unique. Incorporating small metal creatures and beads - they are more art than jewelry. And its all reasonably priced (although not all of the items that I found online are being sold in the store.)

Rubber jewelry

Once in a while I come across something that is so unique that it makes me think that we are actually living in a sci-fi novel. We are the aliens, that some intrepid travellers meet and marvel at our unusual jewelry, art, clothes, etc.
Niki Stylianou's artwork is very unique. This is what the artist says about her work:

"I was trained as an Architect. And my mind is chaotic in a sense. Analyzing all the parameters and re-composing them in every possible way. All the time. But my eyes love purity. Simplicity. Coherence. And my hands move methodically, producing orderly lines and detailed structures.

I’m Greek. In ancient Greek language, the word for jewel or adornment is “kosmos”. But “kosmos” also means the actual “making”. It means rhythm and order. The making of an “example”, an “archetype” with a perfect inner architecture. A small world on its own. A “whole”. A “pattern” that could be traced again and again and be embodied in the “cosmos” as we understand it today.
"

Pimp my...passport?

I have already featured this Ukrainian artist, but apparently the beautiful beaded jewelry is just a tip of the creative iceberg that she is.
Here come the unique, beautiful, custom-made covers for your passport. You can see more of her works on her private blog, or on her website (where you can also purchase on these beauties).

On the blog, if you don't read Russian, just select the links on the right side, which are categories to her various creations.

Mini-food rings

This is an ideal gift for any miniature foods enthusiast. These darling rings are both jewelry and pieces of art - so meticulously crafted, so pretty. Please visit the artist, Sofia, at her Etsy shop.
Her creations are not only one-of-a kind, but are also reasonably priced. I am in love!
